Description

Cacak’s Best plum cultivar should be grown under favourable conditions of vineyard areas on dwarf rootstocks (St. Julien, blackthorn, etc.) with suitable pollinators. Highly suitable for freezing and also for drying and brandy making. It is grown in many European countries, even in New Zealand.  Without compromising its quality the fruit can be left hanging on the tree for 2-3 weeks. Having very large fruit of high quality, Cacak’s Best plum variety is recommended for table use. It has excellent transport qualities. It starts to bear fruit early. A regular and heavy cropper. Being resistant to fruit and flower rot and tolerant to causal agents of red leaf spot and plum rust, it is an exquisite table use plum of its age of ripening.
