Back to Sweet Cherry

The fruit of this variety is large and cordate. Under thin, shiny, dark red skin there is firm, juicy, dark red, sweet and mildly sour, tasty and aromatic flesh. It starts yielding fruit early and then bears fruit heavily and regularly. It is harvested in late May.

This is an old French variety. Its tree is medium luxuriant to quite leafy, mostly resistant to diseases and partly susceptible to fungal diseases. It is not wormy, it rarely cracks except in seasons with high precipitation. It needs a pollinator, the varieties for that purpose being Van and Stella.
