RHEINGOLD

Rheingold is thuja of irregular conical shape and can grow to a maximum height of 1,5m. Once well taken care of and exposed to lot of sun, its golden-yellow needles takes shades of copper. It prefers neutral to somewhat acidic soils. It tolerates pruning which is advised to be done in spring. A full sun lover.

Thuja occidentalis Rheingold is planted individually as a gardening detail with excellent contrasting effect. It can also be planted in pots, as well as in flowerpots in combination with column or ground cover forms. By means of pruning Rheingold can attain spherical shape.
