The fruit of Springcrest peach is rather small, round in shape and occasionally with more prominent tip. It is quite appealing to the eye. The flesh is yellow in colour, of medium firmness and good quality. The pit is partially or completely detaching (in full ripeness) from the fruit. It is ripe for picking in late June.

Springcrest is early peach cultivar of moderately abundant yield. The fruit is medium large and appealing to the eye having its flesh yellow in colour and of medium firmness and good quality. It has good transport qualities. Springcrest peach seedlings are of USA origin.  It is susceptible to Bacterial Spot of Peach. Still present in commercial production.
