Swany

The compact flowers of Swany rose are of pure white colour. The variety is very abundant and shrubby. Ideal for planting on steep terrain. Growing closely to the ground, it has stems that are so compact not even weeds can penetrate through. It blooms from May to October. Recommended planting density: 3-4 seedlings per square metre.

Description

Bred as far back as 1977, Swany rose belongs to Cover Roses category.  It bears flowers reaching around 5cm in diameter, each one counting up to 25–90 petals. It can grow up to 40–50cm in height. The compact flowers are of pure white colour. The variety is very abundant and shrubby. The stems bend under the weight of flowers making this plant very attractive. Rambling form.
